SALTY ROSE | hydrosol toner
SALTY ROSE | hydrosol toner
Hydrate, cool and transport to the ocean
120ml
Not only does the scent smell more fresh like walking through a rose garden after it rains, it also is more potent as the essential oil is not removed from this hydrosol. When you walk our gorgeous beaches here in Nova Scotia, we are graced with the beautiful Rubra Wild Rose. The salt and rose scent is a serendipitous marriage. This mist is fully alive and vibrating with healing energy, the smell will transport you to beach walks of ocean air and lingering sweetness of Rose.
This is our second time offering a local Rose Hydrosol. It is a limited batch, and took laundry size baskets of Rose petals to create. Luckily we harvested before the never ending rain took the rest of the Rose season. This is as pure as it gets. Absolutely no preservatives or chemical nasties. This year we have added the Rose Hip Hydrosol for an extra skin boost of Vitamin C. This beautifully rare hydrosol is cleansing, rejuvenating & anti-inflammatory. It fuses beautifully with the rose petals, making it a gorgeous complete blend. Spray it with love, feel the calming, firming and healing of so many Roses. Align yourself with your heart, and our true selves down to the last drop.
Rose has a universally balancing action on absolutely all skin. It is nourishing, softening, hydrating, cooling and balancing. Due to its astringency it has long been used for redness in the skin.
INGREDIENTS: Wild Rose (Rosa rugosa), spring water from the highlands in Cape Breton
ORIGIN: Nova Scotia
RITUAL:
After cleansing in the morning and evening, mist hydrosol onto the face then gently press into the skin. Apply Oil Serum or Face Balm after misting in the morning. As part of a daily skin care routine, our Rose Hydrosol is the ideal toning product for normal, dry, sensitive and tired skin. For an added boost spray face again after applying face oil.
Our Rose hydrosols , like all of our Hydrosols we offer, are specifically distilled for the hydrosol, not as a co-product or even a by-product. The plant's cellular water and many components - normally lost under pressurized short steam runs for essential oil, or by using dried material - are what the producers specifically distill for by using only fresh plant material right from their farm or from local farms to ensure that the plant material is as fresh as possible.
