Facial Gua Sha is one branch of medicine and is intended to be used in a simple way for health and beauty maintenance at home. In TCM a tool, most commonly a stone, is used across the skin, usually on the body. We are using a stone board on the face to stimulates and activate acupressure points that lift, tone, and bring about a vibrant glow from within.
Good quality skincare is amazing but incorporating this technique into our very own high vibe beauty rituals is skin changing. The state of your emotional health is expressed through patterns of tension in facial muscles and other tissues. Using a GuaSha Tool will help re-pattern the skin with an incredible lifting massage technique.
This shape is one of my favorite and effective home tools. With ridges to loosen connective tissue and expressive lines, a nice long wave for sweeping the neck and larger parts of the face, small notch and bigger notch to fit into all the nooks and crannies of the face. This stone does it all while looking gorgeous and feeling amazing in the hand.
